Rural
Transformation
Rural
transformation is the reorganization of society in a given space, rather than
about a space that empties as people and economic activity move away. The rural
transformation is, in essence, a process whereby the sharp economic, social,
and cultural differences between rural and urban gradually blur and bleed into
each other along a continuous gradient. Most inhabitants of developing
countries fall below poverty line and have a completely different standard of
living as compared to those residing in developed countries. Some of the
initiatives CSSW continually pursue through teaching people the different
skills methods which are beneficial in improving many of their livelihoods.
Apart from skills to help them with their routines, small scale
entrepreneurship is also taught basic business methods and guide them.
Sensitive issues are likewise researched upon as well to create peace and order
within the various communities. CSSW have also looked into methods of conflict
resolution for areas that need to work on such issues. Children and the elderly
are also cared for in these areas as there are times that they can be abandoned
by their families. We organize various village camps where our volunteers
travel to rural areas across the country to spread awareness about health, planting
tress, healthy lifestyle, childcare, sanitation, free education etc. We also distribute
free books and stationery items to the children. Also organize different
education camps where our volunteers give free classes and teach them values.
